Let’s be REAL

Motherhood is one of the most life altering things you can go through.
It is both exhilarating and exhausting all at once.
It is affirming but can also make you forget who you really are.
There are a lot of really helpful and worthwhile workshops out there that help us on how to be mothers but not many that look at what it means to be you through the journey of motherhood.
Being a mother of three young children and having worked with young families for a number of years, I decided to create a workshop that I myself would love to attend.
A safe space for mothers to listen and talk through the ups and downs of motherhood. Hence the creation of my Let’s be REAL workshop.
The ‘Let’s be REAL’ workshop is a space for mothers of 0-10 year olds to come together and listen to an inspiring talk, have space to rediscover who they are, and eat cake.

The workshop begins with a drink on arrival, followed by an honest talk on my journey through motherhood.
We then work through the tools that I have designed to help me and other mothers to stay REAL to themselves:

Reject the lies

Explore your dreams

Accept your now

Love yourself

And of course there is cake and tea/coffee to accompany all of this and a goodie bag for you to take home.

There are 10 places available at each workshop.

Thursday 20th February 19:00-21:00 at The City Hotel, Dunfermline
Saturday 22nd February 14:00-16:00 at The Gillespie Centre, Dunfermline

Booking for the Dunfermline workshops will open on 20th November

What people have said about the Let’s be REAL workshop:

Leanne is a REAL inspiration, humbled by her story and massively encouraged to tell and own my own.
Great ideas and reminders, looking forward to reaping the rewards.

It was just the right amount of listening, activities and emotion. Having a small group was really good for when people feel vulnerable. You led the course well and showed intuition and sensitivity. Tissues for next time!

“Gathered together, we find our light. And each spark shifts and multiplies, scattering its radiance on our ordinary lives.
Like everything precious, more valuable when shared. Like every common miracle, made of the stuff of stars.
Let the light shine. Watch for it falling on each other’s faces. Count the beams, catch them, let them be reflected back.
See the hope, see the promise. Never hide your fears in silence. Listen to those you cherish. Hold them in your arms.
Let them hear your heart.
Tell your truth. Tell your story. Tell your love.”
